A concept for a family seaside konoba: a warm brand, a reserve-a-table flow up front and a menu people can actually read on their phones.

The brief
Konoba Mare is a fictional restaurant we created to show our restaurant work: a family konoba on the harbour, fish from the morning boat and lamb under the bell.
Restaurant sites usually fail at the three things guests want on their phone at 7pm: What's on the menu? Are you open? Can I get a table? This concept answers all three before anything else.

Decisions
- Reservations first. Date, time and party size overlap the hero, so booking a table is never a scroll away.
- A menu, not a PDF. Courses as tabs, dishes with short honest notes and prices, readable without pinching.
- Hours and directions in plain sight. Opening times and how to find the blue door, on one evening-blue band.
- Food first. Real plates in the hero and next to the menu, because people choose a restaurant with their eyes. DM Serif for the voice, Work Sans for the facts.

The system
Wine, linen, olive-oil gold and harbour blue. The gold is saved for what matters: the brand name, the key word in the headline and the reserve button.
The photography is licensed stock from Unsplash, credited on the site. For a real restaurant we would shoot the actual dishes and dining room.
